Trauma informed nervous system hypnotherapy audio for safe behaviour change

Feel Without Flooding

A gentle, safety-centred 20 Minute hypnotherapy audio to help you stay present with emotion without becoming overwhelmed

Feel your feelings…
without tipping into overwhelm or shutting down

Why This Matters

There’s a question I hear often, in different ways.

How do I feel what I’m feeling…
without it becoming too much?

How do I stop shutting down…
or spiralling into anxiety?

How do I stay steady…
when life is already asking a lot?

This audio is designed to support exactly that.

Not by pushing you deeper.

But by helping your nervous system learn something new:

That it can touch something gently…
and return to steadiness.

In This Audio You Will:

• Stay present with mild, everyday emotions
• Notice what you feel without becoming overwhelmed
• Reduce patterns of shutting down or disconnecting
• Build confidence in your ability to come back to steadiness
• Develop a steadier, more flexible nervous system

Not everything at once.
Just enough.

How It Works

Rather than asking you to go deep, this audio guides you to:

• Stay anchored in your body
• Gently notice small emotional shifts
• Return to steadiness before overwhelm builds

This gentle back-and-forth is how your nervous system learns.

Over time, this is how capacity grows.

A Gentle and Important Note on Safety

This audio is designed for working with mild, present-day emotions.

It is not designed for working with deep trauma or overwhelming past experiences.

If you have memories or experiences that still feel frightening, intense or destabilising, these are best explored in a 1 to 1 setting, where you can be supported at your own pace and guided safely in real time.

You can still benefit fully from this audio by staying with what feels manageable.

That is where change begins.

Who This Is For

This audio may support you if:

• You feel overwhelmed by your emotions at times
• You notice yourself shutting down or going numb
• You want to feel more without losing your sense of control
• You are curious about nervous system work and want a safe place to start
• You are already doing this work and want a gentle way to practise

What Makes This Different

This is not traditional “deep trance” hypnotherapy.

It does not push you into intense emotional states.
It does not override your system.

It is:

• Trauma-informed
• Body-based
• Grounded in nervous system safety
• Designed for real life, not perfect conditions

There is no need to feel anything strong.

You are guided to go gently, always.

What’s Included

• 1 x guided hypnotherapy audio
• Approx. 20 minutes
• Immediate access
• Suitable for repeated use

How To Use This Audio

You might use this:

• At the end of the day to settle your system
• When you feel slightly unsettled or activated
• As a regular practice to build capacity

Little and often works best.

You don’t need to push yourself to feel more.

You don’t need to force change.

Steadiness grows through safety.

This is how we begin to feel without flooding. Gently, and in your own time.

About Anchoring Calm - Hypnotherapy for Anxiety
Anchoring calm

I highly recommend this audio. Diane's delightful Shetland accent, her patient, peaceful words, just soothe your soul.

She encourages you to understand your anxiety, and tips to help, such as the thumb and forefinger method. This helps you not only cope at the time, but to allow you to forsee coping in the future.

Diane proffers wise, helpful words, delivered in a compassionate way. I found this most helpful and have listened to regularly.

About Foula – Da Edge o da World
"When things are really difficult I now take a trip to Foula with you"

Isn't it funny how small challenges during the day can become massive, insurmountable problems during the night.

There have been many demands on me recently which, individually I can cope with but collectively can appear just too much.

I find nature, getting outside, working on the croft or in the garden all help me relax but when things are really difficult I now take a trip to Foula with you.

I have been there before and find it so relaxing to visit again with your soothing voice helping me along.
Thank you for being there.

Utterly gentle, utterly strengthening

So calm and gentle and encouraging. Diane’s voice and guidance allow you to feel deeply held and to trust in the quiet strength and wisdom within. In just a first listen, I sense this meditation's power to be transformative. Grateful.

About St Ninian’s Beach Tombolo Relaxation

Thank you Diane for helping me to feel more secure and less anxious through the use of your Audios. After listening to the free 6 minute audio I purchased the St Ninians Audio using the discount code. It is very helpful in reducing my tensions and stress levels. A ‘work’ situation is unpleasant at the moment and listening helps me relax away from it

About Let Go Into Sleep – A Hypnotherapy-Inspired Guided Meditation
Let go into sleep

I use it at bedtime, vary it with calm sleep stories. It certainly helps and play it again to help get back to sleep if I wake up. I enjoy this very much and usually asleep before the end of the recording. Often my  mind wonders with other thoughts.

I struggle to find what I am looking for in the app though.
